Pet Loss Support Resources

Additional support is always available. We have gathered a list of our most trusted resources for you to explore:

  • Lightning Strike Pet Loss Support — They offer support for pet lovers grieving the death of a pet, a dying pet, a sick pet, or a lost pet with an open discussion forum and various publications.
  • Wings CVMA Pet Loss Support Group Online — The Wings CVMA Pet Loss Support Group online is a place for those who have lost a pet to come together virtually to share their grief, their stories about what the pet meant to them, and to learn how to cope with the loss and grief they are experiencing.

The UC Davis Pet Loss Peer Support group generally meets the third Monday of each month from 6 – 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Please email vmthclientsupport@ucdavis.edu or call 530-752-1393 for further details.
